Notorious Rap Music for Free
He grew up in New York, and started rhyming hip hop in the late 1980s. He had a dream, like many aspiring rap artists, he wanted to make it in this business, and once he met Puff Daddy his career really started picking up steam. Many people don't know where this rapper got his stage name - it actually came from a gangster movie!
Raised in brooklyn, he grew up during the peak of the crack epidemic, becoming a dealer as a way of making lots of fast cash and getting paid. Does this sound familiar? It should, because many rap artists started out making money by selling drugs on the street corners, then rhyming about it later to loud beats and audio masterpieces in hip hop. The debut album record was called ready to die, and it featured gritty east coast fueled beats and smooth rhymes delivered from a powerful voice. Its really his voice which makes him so great at producing rap music.
He was eventually gunned down by some coward, right after releasing his final hip hop album which hit the charts and made millions of dollars. Its too bad this excellent rap artist was not around to be part of that, but maybe in spirit the notorious big lives on. He continues living today in New York and is working on a great new album.
