50 Cent Rapper Music
His real name is curtis jackson, and he was born in the mid 1970s in the ghetto. His rap music reflects this fact, and he claims he died 9 times before making his way into the music business. His most famous album
was known as get rich or die tryin, which was a true story about his hip hop evolution.
He was actually born in south jamaica, and soon his family moved to queens. It was here that 50 cent got into dealing drugs at just age 12 - is that not hardcore? Anyways, it was the 80's and crack was more popular then rap music. Like many rappers, he was making money dealing, but soon things got rough and he had to escape. Luckily his rhymes and smooth flow landed him a position at Interscope records. You know who discovered 50 cent? It was eminem, and soon Dr Dre was producing excellent rap music beats for 50 cent to work with.
As can be expected, he started his own label called G-Unit records, so he could keep more of the profits from rap directly, at this point he was signing rap artists like Buck, Lloyd Banks, and even Tony Yayo. He is selling lots of hip hop albums and you can except musically he will continue to rap.
